Confidence in Times of EmergencyThe realities of severe weather, free burning fire and toxic smoke are overwhelming forces of nature. Of the 4,000 to 5,000 kids we educate every year through our Public Education efforts, our central objective is to displace fear and indecision with informed action during an emergency. Encouraging foresight and awareness as a natural thought process neutralizes paralysis and fear. There is always a next step to take, a correct action verses no action. We are consistently pleased with the adeptness of children to learn and adapt if given the opportunity. Exposing children to simulated emergency environments and providing the tools to function proactively during an emergency is an empowering, rewarding experience that will serve them well into adulthood.
